13: Milan Smells

From “Preconception to Perception” a smell map of Milan incorporating the scents that feature in or around iconic Milanese buildings and architecture. The installation includes hand-illustrated buildings that contain scent diffusers emitting home-brewed smells.

Imagine the smells of a night club (G&T), a restaurant (tomato and basil), the Arches of Peace (grass), the Milan aquarium (fishfood), La Scala (incense) and the Last Supper (chocolat and strawberries).

Audiences responded using graffiti on the map and the buildings.
